Prices

Prices include labour. Any replacement parts are charged separately at cost, and I will always agree them with you in advance.

• Basic computer service

  40 €

  I check that the computer's operating system and software are working correctly and make any necessary changes to improve performance. I also check the components and extend their lifespan by removing dust from the device and replacing the thermal paste or pads. If necessary, I will recommend upgrades to extend the computer's useful life.

• Diagnostics & repairs

  20 €/h

  Minimum 30 minutes, maximum 6 hours. I identify the fault and assess whether a repair is worthwhile. Once I have found the fault, I will contact you and agree the repair work with you. If the repair requires a faulty component to be replaced, labour is charged at the hourly rate and the component is purchased as agreed.

• Component replacement or upgrade

  40 €

  I can install your own component in your computer or help you choose a part that suits your needs and install it in place of the old one. The cost of the component is charged separately if required. The most common laptop upgrades are RAM and an SSD, which can significantly improve performance.

• Operating system upgrade or installation

  20 € (+ any licence fee)

  Operating system (Windows/Linux) upgrade or installation. Any licence fee (Windows) is added to the price. Your data can also be backed up if required. The most common upgrade is to Windows 11, as security support for Windows 10 ends in September 2027.

• New computer build

  80 € (+ any licence fee)

  Assembly of a new computer from components. This includes operating system installation, with any licence fee (Windows) added to the price. This price also applies if a component replacement or upgrade involves more than five components.

• Data recovery from a broken device

  60 €

  Data recovery from a hard drive using a copying tool. This is only possible if the device's hard drive is intact.

• Help buying a computer or laptop

  20 €

  I can help you find a suitable device for your needs.

• Basic games console service (Xbox One S/X, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, PS5)

  40 €

  I extend the device's lifespan and maintain its performance by reducing heat build-up, removing dust and replacing the thermal paste or pads.

• Games console storage upgrade (Xbox One S/X, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, PS5)

  20 € (+ cost of the hard drive)

  I increase the device's storage capacity by installing a higher-capacity hard drive.

• Other games console servicing

  Price to be agreed separately

  Other games console servicing, such as repairs (for example, replacing an HDMI port), or basic servicing and storage upgrades for older consoles.
